The all new Argus K53 race engine, is a pre-broken-in, 3 port engine designed to the highest specification. The K53 continues with the K3’s benefit of being easy to tune and track ready within 2-4 tanks.
?The K53 has the following new features:
Piston: Lightweight full-milled piston provides the engine with plenty of power, acceleration. This enables the engine to have greater torque and better fuel efficiency. The new alloy piston with brass sleeve and high? ? ? ? ?strength connecting rod to improve its durability.
Sleeve: The sleeve has three transfer ports which produce a linear power and a low fuel consumption. The hand lapping sleeve also improved the scavenging and exhaust efficiency.
Head Button: We have adeed an O-ring to the new head button to make the engine have more consistent temperature performance.
Backplate: The new backplate improves the?scavenging?efficiency of the engine.
We offer both the Argus 2134 and 2159 exhaust systems which are a perfect match for this engine.?
2134 – Offers a much smoother power delivery, better fuel economy.
2159 – Much more bottom – Mid power, slightly less top end. We have found this pipe to be very useful on high grip surfaces.
